The Simple Weekly Marketing Routine Every Wellness Business Needs

Laura Andrews writing weekly marketing routine

If you’re a wellness or lifestyle business owner, you’ve probably said this at least once:

“I know what I should be doing… I just don’t have the time or headspace to do it all.”

And honestly? That’s completely normal.

Most women running small wellness businesses are juggling teaching, clients, admin, family life, community… and then on top of that, they’re expected to be content creators, copywriters, sales experts and website managers.

It’s no wonder marketing feels overwhelming.

The good news? You don’t need to spend hours every day on Instagram or reinvent your strategy every week.

A simple, repeatable weekly marketing routine can keep you visible, build trust and attract clients without burning you out.

Weekly marketing routine

Here’s an example of what marketing activity you could do each week.

Monday: Clarity (15 minutes)

Start your week with one question:

What’s the intention for my marketing this week?

Your intentions might be:

  • Fill two spaces in your February class
  • Promote your new bundle
  • Share value to build trust
  • Talk about a common client problem

This 15-minute check-in stops the “What do I post today?” panic before it even begins.

Tuesday: One Long-Form Content Piece (30–40 minutes)

Choose one each week:

  • A blog
  • An email newsletter
  • A helpful Instagram carousel
  • A short video explaining a concept
  • A mini case study

Long-form content positions you as the expert and gives you “core” content to repurpose.

This is your anchor.

Wednesday: Repurpose Day (20 minutes)

Take the long-form piece and repurpose it into:

  • A Reel
  • A Story sequence
  • A quote graphic
  • A client-focused post
  • A tip-style post

Repurposing saves hours and it’s far more effective than creating from scratch.

Thursday: Connection Day (10–15 minutes)

Marketing isn’t just posting – it’s connecting.

Spend a few minutes:

  • Replying to comments
  • Checking in with clients
  • Sending a follow-up message
  • Commenting on local businesses
  • Responding to Stories

This builds the relationships that convert followers into clients

Friday: Soft Sales (10 minutes)

Promoting your services shouldn’t feel uncomfortable and it doesn’t have to.

Try:

  • Did you know I also offer…?
  • Here’s a behind-the-scenes of this week’s private client sessions…
  • Here’s how to book a consultation with me.
  • If you struggle with X, you might love my Y offer.

Gentle invitations work beautifully in the wellness industry.

Weekend (optional): Review (10 minutes)

If you’re in the mood, simply ask:

  • What worked well this week?
  • What felt good?
  • What was too much?
  • What did clients respond to?

Small reflections lead to big clarity.

Marketing doesn’t have to be chaotic, stressful, or time-consuming.

When you follow a weekly marketing routine like this, you stay visible, build trust, and attract clients without living online.
